HTML, the markup language

• The HTML 4.01 Spec
• The XHTML 1.0 and XHTML 1.1 Specifications.
• The Stylesheet specs, CSS Level 1 and CSS Level 2
• W3 runs a HTML Validation service. as well as a CSS Validation service, for pages with style sheets. Be good, check you pages.
• HTMLTidy cleans up html, which is often useful for machine generated pages.
